Handmade by Marianam-h Contest/ Concursul Handmade by Marianam-h

Marianam-h made a cool Easter contest on her blog. She was nice enough to offer cool prizes for all who took part in her contest. I always loved contests like this one because I love thematic challenges.

She announced me that I will soon receive my prize and I was very anxious because I didn't know what I was about to get. Yesterday I received a nice box from her made of corn husks and it looks absolutely amazing! It was so detailed and nicely made, it's clear to me now that all beautiful things are born from patience and passion!

I posted a few pics with it (scroll over the Romanian text):

Also don't forget to check out her blog here:

Lovely details - Detalii minunate

I already have a lot of things to put inside -  Deja am multe lucruri de pus inauntru

It came nicely wrapped with a cute ribbon on top

Summer, water, fog, rain and sea / Vara, apa, ceata, ploaie si mare

I was inspired by water in all its forms lately so I made a pendant and a pin that would remind me of that

Am fost inspirata de apa in toate formele ei in ultimul timp asa ca am facut un pndantiv si o brosa care sa-mi aminteasca de asta.

Armenian Queen - Regina Armeniana

If you remember my Armenian Collection you will certainly remember the colors and the style of this pendant. I was inspired yesterday and I wanted to do something more...royal. So I created a beautiful Armenian queen dressed in gold.

Daca va amintiti Colectia Armeniana o sa va amintiti culorile si stilurile in acest pandantiv. Am avut inspiratie ieri si am vrut sa fac ceva mai...regal...asa ca am creat o frumoasa regina armeniana imbracata in aur.

Bicycle Pendants/ Pandantive Biciclete

A bicycle is always nice but considering the rainy weather outside I shouldn't be thinking too much about it. However, using a bicycle is not just great for your health and overall appearance, but it also good for the environment, so that can be a big incentive for those concerned about it. Inspired by this, I created two bicycle pendants that I hope will inspire you to go outside :D

Challenge Revista Atelierul May/ Provocare Revista Atelierul Mai

I always get inspired by the great challenges Revista Atelierul is doing every month and I'm always looking forward to what they have installed for the next next month. This May, the challenge was something Romanian, something that would say traditional. I love ethnic patterns, and obviously I love our ethnic patterns; I'm also planning on making a new collection, a bigger one, just like Armenia, that would feature Romanian elements. However, this will not happen in the near future because I have so much planned, so for now I will just create something traditional for this new and cool challenge. So here it it, a new pendant I created with polymer clay featuring a girl wearing traditional clothing from the South of Romania, also known as Oltenia.

Sea and seaweed/ Mare si Iarba de Mare

My latest pendants have been inspired by the sea and seaweed. Each of them is made of polymer clay and has a small Swarovski crystal in the middle.
