Christmas Decorations 2014

These are some of the decorations I had a lot of fun making this Christmas. Some of them have baroque elements while others have art nouveau elements.

Christmas Part 2 - Painted pieces

Here are the rest of the creations I was preparing for Christmas. I tried to avoid most of the Christmas-ish themes that are everywhere and just painted whatever I felt like it but there are some of them that are definitely Christmas-ish.

New stuff from February

I haven't had time to post anything because I was extremely busy with work and preparing for fairs. I did manage to take a few pictures of my new items.

These have been painted on plastic and are both pins.

Absence/Absenta

Again, I have been away. I had to move and apparently it takes a lot more time to settle than one would expect. I did a lot of work but I haven't got the time to take pictures. However, here are some painted clay pendants and pins I've been making.

Challenge Revista Atelierul May/ Provocare Revista Atelierul Mai

I always get inspired by the great challenges Revista Atelierul is doing every month and I'm always looking forward to what they have installed for the next next month. This May, the challenge was something Romanian, something that would say traditional. I love ethnic patterns, and obviously I love our ethnic patterns; I'm also planning on making a new collection, a bigger one, just like Armenia, that would feature Romanian elements. However, this will not happen in the near future because I have so much planned, so for now I will just create something traditional for this new and cool challenge. So here it it, a new pendant I created with polymer clay featuring a girl wearing traditional clothing from the South of Romania, also known as Oltenia.
