Whether you are addicted to turquoise or simply looking for a goddess pendant for the goddess in your life, this particular one is made for you. I wanted to create a whimsical pendant that oozes allure representing a lovely queen with a moon rose crown in an Art Nouveau style.

Last year I created a collection representing powerful women that look towards the future. I wanted a stoic and powerful woman, From single moms working at night to students with part time jobs trying to build their dream career, every woman out there struggling, but with a content smile on her face, knowing she will succeed. Whether you are daydreaming or thinking at the bright future ahead, this one is for you.

Art Nouveau Inspired pendants

Art Nouveau is one of my biggest inspirations. I love the natural curves, the flowers and the beautiful women that are often represented in this style.

Uncontainable Bloom

Where can you find the collection?
You can find it in my Etsy store and on my FB page.

Why Uncontainable Bloom?

This collection was an incredible experience, one that taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and bloom. It taught me how to trust my artistic instinct without any self imposed prejudice. It also features flowers, blooming flowers, and in a way I hope it will inspire women all over the world to grow. To be free and let go of fears and prejudice, to create and recreate themselves, to bloom, uncontainable.

What are the materials used to create it?

As you've been accustomed with, I use polymer clay and resin. Sometimes I coat my pieces with resin for better protection and for an unparalleled glass shine. There are some exceptions, some faces and portraits that I prefer to coat with a matte shine coating for a more natural look. Other than polymer clay and resin, I use acrylics and pastels to paint the faces and create a beautiful and natural color tone.

What does it represent?

My collection represents women and without trying to make a political statement, I hope it inspires women to improve themselves, express themselves, and, of course, bloom. It's a collection for the unrepresented, the misfits and the alternative.

Self Esteem and Creativity

The new line I'm creating has taken all my strength and ambition, not to mention my sleep. I'm also drowning in uncertainty when it comes to how people will perceive it. I know my stuff is not that popular and I understand why it wouldn't appeal to a more general public but sometimes I wonder if I'm good at what I'm doing at all. Don't get me wrong, I have clients and people have worn my pieces proudly but there's this gloomy feeling that I'm not good enough. I believe it's probably due to my depression and poor self esteem. I've read a comment yesterday on another blog where a woman was saying that she believes a person's self esteem is reflected in the business they run and I couldn't agree more. My lack of self esteem has deterred me from making my work seen and also making it available out there. I've received countless proposals to pair up with other businesses that were definitely more popular than mine but I often refuse them because I feel I'm not a good match and my stuff would look ridiculous.

But I'm getting better at it. I don't make as many mistakes as I used to so I guess it's just a learning process. I've also started to work on myself a lot more and I believe things are going to be good. The last phrase alone is proof of my change as I was never optimistic about anything.

“Alice:How long is forever? White Rabbit:Sometimes, just one second.”

Sculpted Sleeping Maidens, Goddesses, Empowered Women, etc.

I've been working with this concept of a powerful woman image that I want to add to my jewelry. There's nothing political about it, I just want women to feel proud and empowered when they wear my pieces, or make others feel strong when they offer them as gifts. So these particular pieces have been recreated and reshaped and remade to the point that I feel a bit nauseous when I think about the process. But I'm still trying to find a perfect face that would express a woman being content, happy, strong and mysterious. Still working on that and when I find that perfect face I'm going to make a series of pendants or brooches that can be customized with other details. I also want them to have a bit of an Art Nouveau feel to them, like the carved pendants that were popular in the 19th century. For now I'll just leave you with some of the ones I've come up with during this process. As you can see green is my favorite color :)

Sleeping Beauty and The Dream Machine

I have been extremely busy lately and I know I always use that excuse, but I'm working on an actual product line for my store and I've been working on my Fairytales art jewelry collection. I've posted them already on my FB but I'm posting them on my blog too since I decided I'm not going to use FB that much. This particular piece was inspired from The Sleeping Beauty story but I wanted to give it a little twist so I decided I would make it in a biopunk and cyberpunk style with Sleeping Beauty hooked up to machines that feed off her dreams. The theme can be quite dark but I've used playful colors to suggest the dreaming state she is in so the necklace didn't turn out too uncomfortably dark.

I've already done other characters but I'm pretty stuck with Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. I wish I could add some dark themes to those but I've been trying to figure out what exactly to add.

Besides that, as I mentioned earlier, I've been working on a product like and I'm really excited about that. They are in the same style I do but it's more of a series of products people can customize before they order. That's mostly because I want to offer the best of the best but also because I feel like my store and what I offer is all over the place without a cohesive theme, other than, I don't know, whimsical.

Anyway, here is The Sleeping Beauty and the Dream Machine:
